Our first expedition is investigating the regions of the United States. We will "zoom into" Dubuque first by learning about the changing nature of society through a study of Dubuque's historic landmarks. We will then "zoom out" to Iowa, by learning about the state symbols, geography, government, and famous citizens. Students will "tour" the United States, including the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and West.
